AI Approaches that Work For Real Businesses

Great Lakes AI Solutions helps organizations make sense of artificial intelligence without the hype, pressure, or unnecessary complexity.
We focus on AI that fits your business, your people, and your reality—not tools that sound impressive and have no ROI.

Great Lakes AI Solutions – AI Strategies that actually Work

Artificial intelligence should make work easier, not harder.
But too often, businesses are sold big promises, glossy platforms, and vague “transformations” that never quite show up in day-to-day operations.

Great Lakes AI Solutions was built in response to that gap.

We work with organizations that are curious about AI but cautious for good reason. Teams who want to understand what’s actually possible, what’s worth the effort, and what should be ignored entirely. Instead of chasing trends or locking clients into rigid platforms, we focus on practical, ethical AI solutions that your team can understand, trust, and manage long after the project ends.

Our journey began here in the Great Lakes region—a place where businesses thrive on grit, trust, and long-term relationships. We bring that same spirit to AI. Instead of pushing one-size-fits-all platforms or vendor lock-in, we focus on practical, ethical solutions your team can manage with confidence.

We don’t sell hype; we deliver AI solutions that work—for your business, your people, and your community.

What Guides Our Work

Our team is here to help Midwest businesses discover opportunities where AI actually delivers results: streamlining workflows, improving customer experiences, and helping teams work smarter without losing their human touch.

We’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to build lasting solutions, grounded in transparency and trust. That’s the Great Lakes way—and it’s the journey we’re proud to share with you.

Experience That Translates

We bring decades of experience across technology, education, and accessibility. That matters because adopting AI isn’t just a technical problem—it’s a human one. Our work focuses on helping people understand new tools well enough to use them with confidence, not fear or frustration.

Ethical By Design

AI systems shape decisions, workflows, and outcomes in ways that aren’t always obvious. We believe transparency and responsibility aren’t optional add-ons—they’re requirements. Every solution we recommend is built with a clear understanding of its limits, risks, and real-world impact.

Discipline Over Flash

We value consistency, preparation, and follow-through. The goal isn’t to impress with complexity—it’s to deliver solutions that hold up under real conditions. Good enough isn’t good enough when people are depending on the results.

Meet The Founder

The best technology doesn’t announce itself—it simply works

I’m Jeff Rodgers. I started Great Lakes AI Solutions after watching capable organizations get pulled toward AI long before they felt ready—aware that it represents the future, but unsure how to engage with it responsibly, affordably, or without unintended consequences.

That hesitation makes sense.

Most businesses don’t need sweeping transformations or expensive platforms to start seeing value. They need clarity. They need to understand what AI can realistically do, where it introduces risk, and how it fits alongside the people who already do the work. Used thoughtfully, AI doesn’t replace teams—it removes friction, reduces overload, and gives people more room to do the work that actually matters.

My background spans education, technology, and digital accessibility—fields where success depends on helping people adopt new systems without fear or confusion. Over more than two decades, I’ve learned that sophistication doesn’t come from complexity. It comes from understanding.

As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I approach this work with discipline and realism. My experience in accessibility reinforced a principle I treat as non-negotiable: technology that leaves people behind isn’t innovative—it’s incomplete. That belief shapes how I evaluate tools, design solutions, and guide organizations through change.

Great Lakes AI Solutions exists for leaders who want to move forward without rushing, and who believe progress should strengthen teams rather than displace them. This isn’t about chasing what’s next. It’s about making smart, measured decisions—so AI becomes a tool your business controls, not something that controls your business.

Let’s have a conversation about AI and what might work for your organization.
